School closure due to water supply
Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen issue caused by works carried out by Yorkshire Water in the close vicinity, our water supply has decreased significantly throughout the morning. As I’m sure you will appreciate, this compromises our Covid-19 risk assessment as well as health and safety legislation. We cannot operate safely without a reliable water supply and therefore have no alternative than to close school.
To enable us to adhere to current guidance we ask that children are collected at 1pm from the school playground, via the same entrance and exit as usual. Please follow the one-way system and wear a face covering. If you are unable to collect your child at 1pm please contact the school office, or via email at c.lodge@worthvalleyprimary.co.uk
